Activity 2: Take the Pre-assessment
Make arrangements to take the preassessment (PAIP).
To refer for the PAIP:
- Look at your AAP.
- Find IPC1. Click on “yes” under “pre-assessment available”.
- Click the tab “request to take the pre-assessment”
- Your Mentor will need to approve this request
This pre-assessment (PAIP) can be taken on your computer at home or any other convenient location. Do not use your notes or texts when taking this exam. This will better indicate areas you will need to review before taking the IPC1 assessment. The pre-assessment takes approximately 1.5 hours to complete and consists of 28 objectives that are covered in 68 items. The actual assessment, which you will take later, also consists of 68 questions. A passing score on the PAIP is 72% or higher.
