Activity 6: IVA4 TASKSTREAM: Performance Task 4

Now that you have completed Module 9, go to Taskstream and complete IVA4 Task 4.

CHECKLIST: Before submitting IVA4 task 4, check to see if you have completed the following:

1.       Is your essay clear and easy to understand?

2.       Have you checked for spelling and grammatical errors? 

3.       Did you use good organization, solid sentence structure, and proper vocabulary associated with art/music analysis?

4.       Did you make sure that you have selected one musical selection to write about and you have listened carefully to the piece?

5.       Did you prrovide a summary of the composer's life that includes their historical and cultural significance and incorporate different

          viewpoints into your analysis?

6.       Have you correctly identified and described the use of five musical elements found in the musical selection you chose to write about?

7.       Did you provide an insightful explanation of how the musical piece reflects the historical and cultural context of its time?
