Activity 1: Introduction

Whenever a writer proposes a solution for (or makes an observation on) a given issue or problem, that writer needs to validate the solution or observation with reasonable, easy to confirm evidence that convincingly supports the solution/observation.   In other words, readers expect that writers will use credible evidence that is clearly linked to the solution/observation.
