In SF Writer
- In Chapter 28, there is a section on grammar and punctuation and mechanics. Use these sections to proofread your paper. Chapter 7 gives you more revising and proofreading helps. Be aware of all of the helps here to evaluate your paper before submitting it to the graders.
- f you have trouble with sentence construction, review Chapter 9 in SF Writer as well.
- Finally use Chapter 28 to revise your APA reference list if there were significant errors in your annotated bibliography. Remember that your final paper only contains a reference list and NOT an annotated bibliography.
In Writing: A Guide for College and Beyond
- Chapter 22 has a sample APA paper which you should not miss when putting your whole document together in APA style.
- The chapters at the end of the book from 29 through 32 review all the grammar and writing conventions you need to succeed.
Research Navigator in the Start Writing tab there is a “Grammar Guide; ” and under End Notes & Bibliography tab, “Using APA Style,” and “Autocite.”
In MyCompLab the Writing Section has Model Documents. You can mouse over the APA Paper 1 for ideas on research paper organization.
