Activity 6: The Final Paper
In the final draft of your research paper, you will revise and edit your research paper draft into a completed and final research paper. This final research paper has no track changes, no corrections in view, no errors and is as perfect as you can make it! It demonstrates the competencies you have learned in all four of the required tasks: from precise APA formatting, to correctly citing research sources in your paper and in a reference list; to demonstrating clear organizational patterns and a strong thesis, and to reflect the revision process you have undertaken on this paper.
It is very important that you work hard on and thoroughly revise your final draft from the versions submitted in the draft with errors and the revised draft. Passing the draft and revision does not constitute a guaranteed pass on the final paper. Since much more is expected from your final paper, substantial revisions must be done, and attention to details is mandatory.
Look closely at the feedback you received from previous assignments and plan to do more revisions and editing to your final paper. It is advisable to have another person (not a course mentor) review your paper again at this stage and help you edit it according to the rubrics.
