Week 2B - Synthesize and Paraphrase Research 4

Activity 4: TASKSTREAM: LAT1 Performance Task 2

Now that you have completed Week 2B, you are ready to complete LAT1 Task 2.

CHECKLIST: Before submitting LAT1 Task 2, check to see if you have completed the following:

  1. Have you come up with one article between 5-10 pages from a credible source?
  2. Have you provided an adequate synthesis of the information presented in the article you chose to paraphrase?
  3. Have you provided in-text citations in APA format in your paraphrase and synthesis?
  4. Have you highlighted the appropriate passages in the article that you paraphrased or typed them into Word and highlighted them?
  5. Have you provided a precise paraphrase of the content you chose in the article?
  6. Have you attached the original article as a link, a PDF copy, or copied it to Word or as an *.rtf document?
  7. Have you attached the paraphrase in a Word or .rtf document?
  8. Have you attached the synthesis of your article as a separately labeled and double-spaced Word or *rtf document?
  9. Have your checked your responses for errors before you submit them?
