Activity 5: TASKSTREAM: LAT1 Performance Task 1

Now that you have completed Week 1B and 2A, you are ready to complete LAT1 Task 1.

CHECKLIST: Before submitting LAT1 Task 1, check to see if you have completed the following:

1. Have you come up with a clear topic for your research paper?
2. Is your topic narrow enough to create a focused research paper?
3. Have you looked to see if your topic is able to be researched in the library or through other sources?
4. Have you checked the e-texts for ideas about topics if you are having trouble choosing one?
5. Have you placed your topic, topic question and thesis at the top of your annotated bibliography?
   
6. Have you found 10 credible resources in the library as well as in other reliable sources—books, periodicals, web sites, reference books etc.?
7. Have you provided a full, correct and APA-formatted citation for these 10 credible resources?
8. Have you provided an adequate summary of the resources you name in the bibliography?
9. Have you provided an adequate evaluation of the quality of information for your 10 resources?
10. Have you described how you will use this source in your final paper?
    
11. Have you provided a correct in-text citation for the resources you critiqued using outside sources?
12. Have you organized these sources into an Annotated Bibliography form, using the correct spacing and indentations, as well as spacing between lines?
13. Have you checked the alphabetical order of the sources for your annotated bibliography.
14. Have you used APA style to check each reference part of the annotation?
15. Have you checked your responses for errors before you submit them?
16. Are you clear about writing "attachment enclosed" in the boxes provided and attaching an .rtf document that will keep your formatting and that the grader will understand?
