MindEdge Collegiate Level Reasoning and Problem-Solving Skills

Critical thinking is a necessary step towards success in almost all settings. This program is designed to help learners define and identify critical thinking and reasoning skills and develop those skills through real-world case studies, interactive exercises, and checklists.  Students are also enrolled in a cohort group with a subject matter expert who will answer questions and provide help for completing the TaskStream assessments.

Optional Resources

Abromitis College Level Reasoning and Problem Solving (Requires Approval by Program Coordinator)
This course is for groups of students. The Collegiate Reasoning Skills and Problem-Solving (CLRPS) Assessment Prep will focus on the following objectives:

  • Problem Solving
  • Information Gathering
  • Information Analysis
  • Interpretation of Data
  • Assumptions and Values
  • Assessment Preparation

Abromitis CLRPS Completion
This is a four hour instructional course for the CLRPS assessment. Mentors can enroll students for one-to-one instruction with an instructor to assist their students in the CLRPS task. The student will have four weeks and up to four hours of communication, instruction, and assistance from a tutor. Students should have completed and have instructor feedback through at least task 7 before beginning this course. This course is also appropriate for those students who have completed CLRPS on their own, submitted it for grading, and need assistance before resubmitting.
