It is necessary to review some topics and then do the practice problems to get an understanding of the material. In this section you will be learning concepts that will help you with your problem solving in the business world.
All students should go to the community and participate in the exercises, and question of the week.

- Properties of Real Numbers (note these are found on the inside front cover of the book), page 19

- Operations on Real Numbers, page 28-31
- Equations in One Variable, page 41-45
- Understanding Exponents, page 83-86
