Activity 6: TaskStream
Now that you’ve completed module 7, you are ready to complete ISA4 Task 7 in TaskStream. Go to www.Taskstream.com to get started on Task 7. (Note: BUS, IT, and ISC5 students do not take the ISA4 and do not complete any of the performance tasks listed in this course of study. They are however, still responsible for the content found in the tasks which will be on the objective exam.)
- Read the instructions for this task.
- Using a graphics program (Paint, Microsoft PowerPoint, etc.); create and label a model of a hydrogen atom and a water molecule.
- Examples of water molecule diagrams can be found in Module 7, Activity 4 or Chemical Context of Life by N.A. Campbell (WGU Library E-reserves).
- Check your assignment using the Task Checklist below.
TASK CHECKLIST
- Create two diagrams using a computer graphics program and save them in JPEG or GIF file format.
-
Identify 3 components of the hydrogen atom (Refer to the websites in Activity 4 of this module. What are specific components of a hydrogen atom? What are specific regions of atoms in general?).
-
Illustrate and label a diagram showing 3 components of the hydrogen atom.
-
Illustrate and label 4 components of the water molecule (Refer to the websites in Activity 4 of this module. What are the parts of this molecule and what holds the molecule together?).
