Activity 6:  TaskStream

Now that you’ve completed module 11, you are ready to complete ISA4 Task 5 in TaskStream. Go to www.Taskstream.com to get started on Task 5.  (Note: BUS, IT, and ISC5 students do not take the ISA4 and do not complete any of the performance tasks listed in this course of study.  They are however, still responsible for the content found in the tasks which will be on the objective exam.)

  • Read the instructions for the task on the geologic timeline.
  • Refer to the websites in activity 4 for examples of the geologic time scale.
  • Construct and label the geologic time scale using a graphic program (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word).
  • Check the assignment using the Task Checklist below. 

TASK CHECKLIST

  1. Include a graph saved in JPEG , GIF, or RTF file format.
  2. Identify 12 periods of geologic time in the correct order.
  3. Include the relative timeframe of each period.
  4. Identify 3 eras of geologic time in the correct order.
  5. Include the relative timeframe of each era.
  6. Identify 2 eons of geologic time in the correct order.
  7. Include the relative timeframe of each eon.
