You will use Part II MyMathLab - Developmental Mathematics as you progress through this module. Below are instructions for accessing the materials.
  • Log into Part II MyMathLab - Developmental Mathematics 7/e, Bittinger by M. Johnston & C. Gee
    • Once in the online course go to Module 6 Geometry & Measurement, and complete the following steps:
      • Step 1--Take the Module 6 Workout, and if you score 80% or better you are considered competent in this area. So, you may move on to the next module. If you score below 80% you will have to go to Step 2.
      • Step 2--This is Required Homework that you must complete before taking the Post Test. You will be able to look at the e-text, sample problems and lessons to understand the material better. You will need to score 80% in order to take the Post Test.
      • Step 3--Take the Post Test and you move on to Module 7 if you score at least 80%. If you score below 80% you should go to Step 4 and complete your Optional Homework before attempting the Post Test again.
      • Step 4--You will also be assigned Optional Customized Homework based on your Post and PreAssessment scores.

        **Please note for any PreAssessment or Post Test you will need to make sure you take the one that is in the correct module. For instance you may click on STEP 1 in Module 3. You will go to a page that has assessments from different modules. Be sure to pick the correct assessment and module.
  • Developmental Mathematics: College Mathematics and Introductory Algebra (7th edition) by Bittinger M. & th Beecher, J. (2008), Pearson Education, Inc.
    • In the text above, please refer to Chapters 4, 6, 9, & Appendixes to develop competency in Module 6. Please note that this text is also in electronic format in MyMathLab.

    If you encountered difficulty with any of the concepts or practice problems, you should go to the community.  There you will be able to contact the Quantitative Literacy Math (QL Math) Academic Mentor through the "Contact a Mentor" button, or e-mail.
