Activity 6: LUT1 Task 1

Now that you have completed Week 2A, you are ready to work on LUT1 Task 1.
CHECKLIST:Before submitting LUT1 Task 1, check to see if you have completed the following:
- Have you checked your presentation visuals and script for errors before you submit them?
- Have you provided an introduction to your presentation that captures the audience's attention?
- Have you written your thesis statement within the presentation script?
- Have you provided an introduction that includes the main points of your presentation?
- Have you used research within your presentation to support your main points with evidence?
- Have you provided a conclusion that provides an effective closing to your presentation?
- Have you provided a summary in your conclusion?
- Have you created a readable, well-formatted visual aid(s) for the presentation?
- Have you photographed and submitted the visual aid as a readable attachment?
- Have you created a presenter's script for the visual aid?
- Have you provided a list of more than three relevant potential questions that the audience may ask during the presentation?
- Have you cited sources during your presentation using APA style?
- Have you organized your presentation knowing that you will not cover every point of your research paper?
- Have you put in some cues (in your script of your presentation) so you remember to look at the audience, stop for emphasis, create a time for questions, check for clarity, use a visual etc.?
