In this module, you will continue to learn about deductive and logical reasoning.  You will also be able to develop formal two column and paragraph proofs.  This learning will enable you to develop higher level thinking that will assist you in your instruction.

Activity 1:  Key Terms & Definitions

  • Triangle theorems and postulates:  AAS, ASA, SAS, SSS, Hypotenuse Leg
  • Perpendicular lines
  • Segment bisector, Angle bisector
  • Reflexive Property of Congruence, Corresponding Parts of Congruent Triangles  are Congruent (CPCTC) 

In your notebook for IS Math, continue your glossary section for quick reference.
