Activity 2: Take the Pre-assessment

Request the referral for the pre-assessment (PAIM) through your AAP before starting the IMA4 or IMC4 competencies.  The PAIM is designed to be taken in your home or office.  It consists of 46 questions which are representative of the competencies on the IS Math Part II Assessment (IMC4).  Treat it as an actual assessment – do not use textbooks or other resources; however, calculators are permitted.  Once you have taken the PAIM, your will contact you with the results and directions on where to proceed from there.

To refer for the PAIM:

  1. Look at your AAP.
  2. Find IMC4. Click on “yes” under “pre-assessment available."
  3. Click the tab “request to take the pre-assessment."
  4. Your mentor will need to approve this request.
