To access MyReadingLab, follow these steps:
- Log into Pearson’s Reading, Writing and Composition website using the information you received when you enrolled in the resource (the login page displays the title “Course Compass”).
- The first page you encounter after logging in contains important announcements in the center panel. Please read these announcements.
- The menu on the right-hand side of the screen gives you access to the different areas of the Pearson Reading, Writing and Composition resource. Click on the link for MyReadingLab.
- A link and icon will appear for My ReadingLab. Click on it and you will be taken to the homepage for My Reading Lab. From here you can track your activity in the resource and view your completed activities.
- To access the readings for Module 3, Activity 3, click on the tab called “Study Plan.” On this page you will see a list of linked readings and activities. Find the titles listed in your current module, such as “Active Reading Strategies—New Orleans, Louisiana,” and click through the links. Complete the readings and activities.
Note: When you access the Pearson Reading, Writing, and Composition Online Resource for the first time, you will need to select a course ID. Enter Course ID Arts00008962R for MyReadingLab and OR Enter Course ID Arts00220001W for MyWritingLab. There is additional sign-in help listed on the Course Compass homepage.
MAKE SURE YOU SELECT "ENROLL IN INSTRUCTOR's COURSE" and NOT the "Self Study" option.
