Activity 2: Take the Preassessment

Contact your mentor to schedule the preassessment (PALC) for the LCO1 assessment. This practice exam can be taken on your computer at home or any other convenient location. Do not use your notes or texts when taking this exam.  This will better indicate areas you will need to review before taking the LCO1 assessment.  The preassessment takes approximately two hours to complete and consists of 37 questions.   The actual assessment, which you will take later, consists of 50 questions. 

A passing score on the preassessment (PALC) is 66% or higher. Discuss the results of your preassessment with your mentor to determine areas you might need to review again before taking the actual assessment.
