Key Concepts and Questions

- Richard Paul and Linda Elder define critical thinking as "the art of thinking while thinking in order to make thinking better."
- Critical thinking involves analysis and evaluation of thought in order to improve the way we think.
- Even though Critical Thinking is useful to assess and evaluate the thinking of others, it ultimately is used to improve one's own thinking processes.
