Introduction

When identifying sources to be assessed and evaluated in the process of determining an optimal solution to a problem, it is important to find credible sources representing different viewpoints on the same topic.  Do not spend time analyzing sources that are questionable or lack credibility.  You need the best information you can find to identify a solution to your problem or issue. Once you've identified the sources you will analyze, first apply the elements of reasoning to discover the logic of your sources.  Next, apply the standards of thinking to determine the value of what you've identified.
