Activity 4: Guiding Questions and Competence Builder

Answer the following questions using information gained through the readings and CourseCompass activities.  Enter answers and thoughts on the topics in your notebook. 

  • How do the digestive, respiratory, and cardiovascular systems transport substances?
  • Explain how the respiratory, cardiovascular, and urinary systems facilitate waste removal.
  • Cite examples of how the cardiovascular system works in conjunction with the urinary system.
  • How are nutrients exchanged between cells and capillaries?
