Activity 5: TaskStream Performance Task

Now that you have completed Module 8 you are ready to complete ISA4 Task 703.1.1-08, 1.4-07, 2.1-05-07.   Go to www.Taskstream.com for the instructions on how to get started on this task. 

Task: Movement

  • Read the instructions for this task.
  • Choose one of the movements listed.
  • Identify the bones, muscles, nerves, and joints involved in the movement using the graphics provided.
  • Write an essay that describes the functions of the specified structures.
  • Compare your task to the rubric and submit it to TaskStream.

 

TASK CHECKLIST – Part A (Project Design – completed before performing the experiment)

1.       Did you articulate your responses in a clear, accurate and understanble manner?

2.       Did you use accurate grammar, punctuation and spelling in your written work?

3.       Did you identify one of the movements outlined in the introduction to complete the task?

4.       Did you accurately label more than five structures of the afferent division of the peripheral nervous system involved in the movement?

5.       Did you accurately label more than two structures of the central nervous system involved in the movement?

6.       Did you accurately label more than seven structures of the efferent division of the peripheral nervous system in the movement?

7.       Did you accurately label more than thirteen bones involved in the movement?

4.       Did you provide a logical explanation of the function of more than thirteen identified bones?

5.       Did you provide a logical explanation of the function of more than five identified joints?

6.       Did you provide a plausible analysis of the function of more than thirteen identified muscles?

7.       Did you accurately identify more than three specific examples of bone and muscle interactions?

8.       Did you provide a logical explanation of why more than three specified bone and muscle combinations are interdependent?

9.       Did you provide appropriate citations and references in APA format that contain no detectable errors?
